In the Street...Pitti Uomo, Florence

Sorry that I didn't post yesterday, but Pitti did literally overwhelmed me.

I don't tell you how many shots I've done because you won't belive me.

I must say that the myriad of ideas that are seen at Pitti are really so many, but if you are able you can already see what will be the next trend.

I certainly noticed a great return of young people to Classic.

Yesterday I also met friends Scott Schuman"The Sartorialist", Garance Dore' and Tommy Ton"Jak and Jil", which are without any doubt the number one and the soul of all this. We talked a bit and then, I know that sound strange, I could't do less but take a photo with them.

Scusatemi se ieri non ho pubblicato post, ma questo Pitti mi ha letteralmente travolto...non vi dico quanti scatti ho sparato perchè non mi credereste.

Devo dire che la miriade di idee che si vedono al Pitti sono veramente tante ma se ci riesci puoi già capire quali saranno le prossime tendenze.

Senza dubbio ho notato un grande ritorno dei giovani al classico.

Ieri ho potuto anche incontrare gli amici Scott Schuman "The Sartorialist", Garance Doré e Tommy Ton "Jak & Jil"  che sono senza dubbio i numeri uno e l'anima di tutto questo. Abbiamo parlato un pò e poi, sò che sembrerà strano, non ho potuto fare a meno di sparare una foto con loro.

Now that the magazine came out I can finally show you the photos I've done a while ago for an editorial.

I love the models freestyle&urban cool look outside the catwalk, when they walk on the street with these very easy looks but incredibly chic.

That's why I wanted to create this part in my blog  Models Off-Duty.

It's M.O.D...to launch it is designer Alexander Wang. Is called "the Wang factor", and it's a mix that makes easy, cool&free all the creations of the NY fashion designer. 

At 25 Alexander Wang is already an icon of world fashion.

It was him behind the term M.O.D (Models Off-Duty), from which he gets the inspiration for his collections, trying to merge casual with streetstyle in an inimitable result.

"I love the free look of the models, when they take of the clothes from the fashion shows. 

It's all about urban nonchalance, casual and glamour pices at the same time". 

According to Wang the winning style is determined by relax fashion clothes, which worn the right way become very cool. His greatest inspiration come from the street, and it's exactly from there that all his projects start.

Adesso che il giornale è uscito posso finalmente pubblicare queste foto che ho realizzato un pò di tempo fà per un redazionale.

Amo lo stile libero e l'urban cool delle modelle fuori dalle passerelle, quando camminano per strada con questi look molto easy ma incredibilmente chic.

Per questo ho voluto creare nel mio blog il capitolo Models Off-Duty.

È il M.O.D., a lanciarlo è lo stilista Alexander Wang. Viene chiamano il"fattore Wang" ed è un mix che rende easy, cool & free tutte le creazionidello stilista newyorkese. A 25 anni, Alexander Wang è già un’icona del

fashion world. È stato lui l’artefice del termine M.O.D. (Models Off-Duty),al quale si ispira per le sue collezioni, cercando di unire il casual con lostreet style in un risultato inimitabile.

"Amo il look libero delle modelle quando si tolgono gli abiti di sfilata.

È tutta questione di nonchalance urbana, di pezzi casual e glamour al tempo stesso". 

Secondo Wang, il mix vincente è determinato da capi fashion relax, che però portati nel modo giusto diventano molto cool.

La sue più grandi ispirazioni vengono dalla strada...ed è proprio da li che prendono spunto tutti i suoi progetti.

My Work...shooting lookbook "étoile" S/S 2010

This year "étoile" asked me to realize their look book and I was very happy to do so.

And so I organized everything for the shooting at my friends studio, Dario. 

I must say that we had a lot of fun while we were shooting.

The outfits were really cute and special.

We also realized the backstage video of the shooting that I include in the post for your opinion...

Quest'anno "étoile" mi ha chiesto di realizzare il loro Look Book ed io sono stato molto felice di farlo.

E così ho organizzato tutto per lo shooting nello studio dell'Amico Dario.

Devo dire che quel giorno ci siamo veramente divertiti mentre scattavamo.

Gli outfit erano davvero carini e particolari. Abbiamo realizzato anche il video del backstage dello shooting che inserisco nel post per un vostro parere...

The t-shirt is fashionable?...No...the t-shirt has never gone out of fashion.Walking down the street I have the feeling of being in a Modern Art Museum or at an exhibition to see paintings and everythime I like one I just shoot...the paintings are the t-shirts that people wear in the most strange and bizarre ways...

La t-shirt va di moda?...No...La t-shirt non è mai passata di moda.

Camminando per strada ho come la sensazione di essere in un Museo d'Arte moderna o ad una mostra a vedere 

dei quadri e quando me ne piace uno lo fotografo...e i quadri sono le t-shirt che la gente indossa nei modi più strani e bizzarri.

In the Street...M.O.D. Windy Spring

I took a walk on a day of this windy spring,and i did nothing but shoot...the wind did all the rest...it's incredible how nature sometimes is able to give something that artificially is almost imposible to have...

Sono uscito per strada in una giornata di questa primavera così ventosa...e non ho fatto altro che sparare...il vento ha fatto tutto il resto...è incredibile come la natura a volte ti sappia dare qualche cosa che artificialmente  è quasi impossibile creare.
